Celebrate Recovery Leaders

About CR

In January of 2006, First Assembly launched Celebrate Recovery. It is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. It is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our lives. Drawn from the Beatitudes in the book of Matthew, Celebrate Recovery helps people resolve painful problems in the context of the church as a whole. Rather than setting up an isolated recovery community, it helps participants and their churches come together and discover new levels of care, acceptance, trust, and grace.

Celebrate Recovery is designed to address issues such as: Alcoholism – Sexual Abuse – Codependency – Drug Addiction – Sexual Addiction – Food Addiction – Anger – Resentment – Low self-esteem – Anxiety – Depression, and much more.

Come and see what Celebrate Recovery can do for you!! Join the Celebrate Recovery Leadership team from First Assembly of God Church every Tuesday night as we present this life changing ministry to Bloomington/Normal and surrounding communities.
